Over 500 people have stuck isolated due to continuous snowfall in the Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh. The state has sought help and would use helicopters to take them to safe places. However, the condition of about 60 labourers stranded at Zingzingwar is slowly deteriorating as they were facing shortage of food and medicines, they added.

Our View: Normally this is an off-season till December 15-20th due to changing weather condition after which there is a flux of tourists for seeing the Snowfall. But this year since the snowfall has been heavy and continuous you could start your vacations early only if you do not have leave constraints (Majority of people plan and get leaves towards Christmas and year-end).
