In every generation, new media platforms emerge to interpret the world for their time.

This website or media platform exists for a simple purpose:

A Platform Born from Curiosity

Indiax began with a simple curiosity about India’s future.

The Founder of Indiax.org (Shankar AVSB) grew up across different parts of the country, with his father being an Indian Air Force officer and his mother being school teacher and a PhD in Sanskrit. Living in multiple cities and studying in different schools across India, offered a unique view of India’s diversity — its languages, cultures, economic differences, and shared aspirations.

His academic experiences of Electrical Engineering at NIT Jaipur, and MBA from IIM Lucknow, and post graduate studies at Stanford University, followed by professional work with global companies and international institutions, created a broader perspective on how India fits into the global economy.

One question kept returning:

How can a country as complex and dynamic as India be understood in a meaningful way?

The answer, over time, became clear. India cannot be understood only through national headlines. It must also be understood through the stories of its cities, districts, institutions, and people.

Indiax.org was created to explore that deeper narrative.
