It is learned that Katrina Kaif, a leading Bollywood actor has rejected a Rs 2.5 crore (over half a million USD) offer by a 5 star hotel in Mumbai to be its New Years Eve Star. She would prefer to spend the Christmas and New Year vacation with her family in London.

Our View: Its a bold decision by Katrina and we appreciate her confidence in handling such cases. She is quite professional in her dealings as well; in another instance she had offered Prakash Jha a sum of Rs 15 Lakh for an extra day that she wanted to prepare her dialogues for the upcoming multi starer film, Rajniti. She is raising the bar for Bollywood actors. Very good indeed.
