US is planning to rush more spy drones in Afghanistan to increase its spying and attacking capability. Use of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) has proved to be very useful due to the intelligence/video footage that it provides; some would even be fitted with multi dimensional cameras. On a different instance, President Obama had excepted that they consider Afgan-Pak border to be epicenter of the terrorism. And hence comes the plan to deploy drones in the region.

Reliance ADAG is getting into branded food products by launching a food and beverage brand: ‘Movie Munchies’ and its own mineral water brand, ‘Spring’, later this month. They will be initially sold through Reliance ADAG’s 500-odd BIG cinema outlets across India, Malaysia, Netherlands and the US, the bigger plan is to sell this food products in airports and independent retail outlets. US-China ties not at India’s expense, says Washington
India’s sharp reaction to the joint statement by the US and China had made the US to get into damage control act by clarifying that the statement was meant to promote peace in the region with the statement’s focus being on the Af-Pak region.

US to pay Taliban members to switch sides
The US government is aiming to make Taliban Loyal by making payments to Taliban Locals. These payments would be made under a Taliban reintegration provision under the Commander’s Emergency Response Programme (CERP). The move is based on their finding that the Taliban fighters are motivated largely by the need for a job or loyalty to the local leader who pays them and not by ideology or religious zeal.
