India’s sharp reaction to the joint statement by the US and China had made the US to get into damage control act by clarifying that the statement was meant to promote peace in the region with the statement’s focus being on the Af-Pak region.

Hillary Clinton Tells Pakistan To Get Serious In Effort to Fight Terrorism

Hillary Clinton, who is currently visiting Pakistan, said Pakistan is not doing enough to the fight war against Al-Qaida and Taliban. Hillary’s tone did remain sounded strict throughout her meetings. The direct tone of her messages have taken some people at the White House by surpirse. “Her inner voice became her outer voice,” said an NBC correspondent. Taliban Options: Infiltrate into India or Get into Jail

The ‘friendly and peace-loving’ Pakistan government has adopted a new strategy to dealwith Taliban by giving them an option to either become part of Jihad against India, or decay in a local jail. There are already 60 surrendered Jihadis who are are to infiltrate into India from POK/LOC. By doing this it is trying to turn situation into its advantage, without having to fight against them. There are clear signals of increase in infiltration in coming 15-20 days, that is when winter will also begin to set in.
