Engineering faculty of BUIT, Barkhatullah University, are in trouble due to the current indecision on extending their tenure. Many of the college faculty are on contract or are working as a visiting faculty and their contract would lapse this week. A proposal to extend their tenure has been sent to Chancellor Prof Ravindra Jain. Students are agitated over this but no result has come out as of now.

14 New Colleges to Open in MP
Under the chairmanship of CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan in Manthan 2009, it was proposed that 14 New colleges would be set up in State from the next Academic Year. Around 350 professors and assistant professors would be get job because of the recruitment. Apart from higher education recommendations were discussed for School Education, Minerals Dept., Revenue Department.

After CAT It’s Now MP Professional Examination Board To Make It Online
Bhopal: MP Professional Examination Board is busy making PET, PMT and other entrance exams online. The model will be pilot tested for a small test and based on its success it will be implemented properly in all examinations. It will also have thumb print verification during the examination and counseling to ascertain that the right candidate is admitted. The online tests will reduce the operational costs so that students would also need to pay less.

25000 Indian-origin Doctors to return from UK to India; Some to Join 7 AIIMS like institutes to be planned
15,000 doctors who are currently taking training in UK and 10,000 doctors who are retiring from their jobs are to return to India.
