Indian Population Faces Huge Diabetes Threat

Stanford University has recently posted updates from their India Research

As India’s middle class has expanded, the nation’s public health concerns have shifted. Obesity rates have risen, coinciding with a surge in diabetes. The number of Indians with type 2 diabetes is expected to double to nearly 80 million by 2030. Meanwhile, 43 percent of children in India are underweight, according to the World Bank.

A chronic condition, type 2 diabetes is characterized by high levels of glucose in the blood.  People with type 2 diabetes are at much greater risk of health complications, including problems with the eyes, kidneys and cardiovascular system. The American Heart Association estimates that nearly 75 percent of type 2 diabetics die from some form of heart or blood vessel disease. And the risk of stroke increases more than two-fold within the first five years of being treated for type 2 diabetes.

Hindi is not Our National Language?

Gujarat High court, after listening to a petition that packaged commodities must contain details about goods in Hindi, has refused to do so. Chief Justice S J Mukhopadhaya, told that there is no National Language for the country, Hindi and English only being the official language and not the national language.

Why is Kasab not getting the punished?

There has been a debate for a while for Indian government not giving any punishment to only alive accused of 26/11. Why do you think that such a delay? Well all of us know through video footage and various other sources that he was one of the 10 terrorists who had attacked Mumbai with open firing and grenade but still no act from the judiciary system.

There are many reasons to it, we have to give a fair trial to Kasab. As pointed by minister Shashi Tharoor, that let the judicial system take its course. If you see the incident, there are 86 charges which have been framed against Kasab and as per our judicial system those must be proved against him. If we become unsuccessful in proving a few of the charges then the judicial unproved charges have to be proved against someone else otherwise an inquiry or intelligence has to do its work to find out a new accused in such a scenario. Melbourne Gurudwara Set on Fire. It was a delibrate attempt, says the Oz Police !!!

The Australian police has accepted that the fire that broke out in Lynbrook, Australia was  deliberate. Also, they have not yet given a racial perspective to the fire. But Indians are taking this as an attack on Indian. The investigation is still on to find out the exact reason for setting it ablaze.
