India’s sharp reaction to the joint statement by the US and China had made the US to get into damage control act by clarifying that the statement was meant to promote peace in the region with the statement’s focus being on the Af-Pak region.

Vande Mataram should be made optional: Shashi Tharoor

Shashi Tharoor, addressing a gathering at the CSI Christ Church, on its 150th Anniversary, on November 15th, expressed that national song be optional. Drawing a simile to national sport he told that one can sing it out of respect but it is not bounding on him to do so. IIMB ranked as Top b-school in India by Eduniversal Palmes

IIM-B has ranked as No. 1 Business School in India according to the ranking given by Eduniversal Palmes. IIMB has managed to get ‘5 Palmes’ the highest recognition under the evaluation. This award also brings IIM-B among the top 100 B-Schools. IIM Bangalore was voted as the top B-School by 395 Deans from a group of 1000 deans, while IIM Ahmedabad got 345 votes.
