Vidharbha Also Wants A Separate State. Bloody Hell.

Looks like every one wants a new state like Telangana, and now including Vidharbha. These weak people are now getting courage seeing an even weaker central governmemt. Now, as per Vidharbha’s congress member Vilas Mutteshwar, Vidharbha’s claim to form a separate state is more serious and stronger than a similar demand to form Telangana out of Andhra Pradesh. With dying farmers and naxalism taking its toll things are not going good in the region.

Our View: The reason for such issues is the bad governance and the greed of our political leaders. They have kept away some regions from the growth path. Forming separate states will not improve the condition as the new state or a part of the new state will again find itself in the same position after sometime. So bringing in good governance is the only solution to this “get me a new state” problem, because these guys will screw up the new state with even more audacity in the absence of checks and balances.

India really lacks a strong central government that can spank these opportunist, tantrum-throwing pussies.

Congress Party Blunders In Andhra Pradhesh

You might be hearing various news on Congress wanting to split Andhra Pradesh state. The Congress party central team in New Delhi have taken such a big decision of splitting a major state like AP without following a formal process to seek consensus and votes from the MLAs and MPs representing the people. P Chindabaram’s rushed statement in the night of Dec 9 was a mockery of democratic systems and rules, and its ironic that he is a lawyer by profession. Congress party has goofed up big time on this topic. Breaking up a major state is not a joke and it can’t be decided by 5 people in Congress head office; it needs two-third majority in the state assembly. Now Mayawati Wants UP State Break-up

Looks like Indian states are having a race to break up before the new year! Right behind AP and Gorkhaland/West Bangal, now Mayawati wants UP State break-up into as many parts as the people want. Which people is she referring to? The one major difference in this UP case is that she may be able to get the proposal passed using her majority power, whereas in AP a majority of ruling Congress MLAs are themselves against the proposal. Btw, smaller states does not mean better states.
