It is an initiative by Industry leaders this time, School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL) has been set up to build to offer transformational learning experience enable by quality faculty from across the world. It is a consortium of 30 companies with a common vision of creating future business leaders. They have been involved in every aspect of creation of this B-School. It curriculum focuses on sound fundamentals, immense practical knowledge, and a freedom to explore. It has many other attractive features to help the students learn leadership. It offers a full time postgraduate management programmes in business leadership, HR leadership and marketing leadership.

Our View: It is really commendable that Industry has come up with a B-School to further the Academia-Industry interface. They have designed the curriculum with the help of about 50 odd consultants, this shows their rigour in setting it up. Also, this school will get you very good practical learning experience as many companies are directly involved. Most of the learning in a B-School should be through real time/practical cases and projects. In this school, you would not only discuss the case in the classroom but also might get a chance to give a solution to the industry and see its impact. Your assumptions of how things work in an industry would certainly change after you gain a real time professional insight into the practicality of the solution.
