Government has jacked up security for for around 10 scientists who are working in sensitive areas has been tightened in the wake of threats from Pakistan-based terror groups like Lashker-e-Toiba. The intelligence about their life being in danger was given by Sarfaraz Nawaz, who was deported from Muscat and it was later confirmed by T Nazir, LeT’s pointsman in South India. Security in some other places like BARC, some bollywood studios were also tightened after information gathered from interrogation of Headley in the US.

Our View: As per the US’ strategists it is in the interest of the terrorist outfits that Indo-Pak relations get strained to the brink of raging a war against each other. This would lead to movement of Pakistani army on the Indo-Pak border thus saving them from the US-Pak attack in drone. So, Indian intelligence has been sharing information with the US counterpart. Also, Indian Police and other forces should be trained to get ready for any kind of attacks as they are the first ones to face the attacks and save the lives.
