Jaipur: After getting a nod from the government on student election, students have started publicity of their candidate or the party by sticking poster all over the university. But they do not care about the fact that by sticking posters on the wall and various other place, including the notice board, they are badly affecting the looks of their university. They have not even cared about the recommendations made by Lyngdoh committee, with whose recommendation Government has agreed to conduct the elections, to put only hand made posters on places fixed by the university Administration.

Our View: Such issues can only be handled by having very strict administrative control and by taking stringent action on violation of the rules. It is because of the political involvement/influence of our leaders, the administration is not able to be strict. For students, it is display of their character and behavior and this can not improve unless they learn such things from younger age when they are in school or with their parents.
